What is Open Science?

Open Science is the practice of making all elements of scientific research transparent and accessible. Open Science has many advantages including:

Increased replicability and confidence in findings

Increased efficiency of research

Increased democratisation of knowledge

Increased dissemination of findings

As research studies increasingly use observational data in conjunction with advanced computational techniques (such as machine learning), it is crucial that your observational research project is open science compatible!
